Daily is a mobile intranet app. It provides a single place for an employee to communicate, collaborate and get company updates.
We had a clear vision of what we wanted to achieve with Daily.
Our vision was based on a detailed PRD that was born as part of the company goals - make a new flagship mobile app to replace an aging legacy app.
As a team we started with researching the market, users and patterns. We built wireframes, went to brainstorming meetings and had some whiteboard action. Once we had all the necessary data we started building some prototypes and fine tuning the UI.
At the begining of 2016, after a few prototypes and iterations, our beta version was ready.
Feedback was very positive; our users were delighted by the ease of use and the ability to view and edit content on the go. Because of well thought-out UX and great visual UI, our clients reported better business outcomes. The Daily app became a flagship app for the Jive product portfolio.
